This policy statement sets out how Durable Brand Software uses and protects any information that you give us when you use the Wunderverse app and Wunderverse website.

In these policies, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Durable Brand Software, the developers of Wunderverse. 

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified using Wunderverse or our website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Please note that we may need to change these policies from time to time by updating this page. Accordingly, you should check back here to ensure that you are happy with the current policies. This statement was last revised February, 2021.

What We Collect

We go out of our way to avoid collecting any personal information. At certain times, however, we may need to ask for the following information in order to communicate with you privately:

• Name

• Email Address

Our apps also gather anonymous usage analytics data based on actions taken in Wunderverse or on our website. This information is never tied directly to a user’s personal identity and is only associated with more generic information such as app version, type of device, device identifier, session identifier, or operating system, or regional location information.

At times, if given permission, we like to feature and promote users of our apps to other users in our app communities. An example of this is when we feature special story writers in Wunderverse. We do this by emailing the user (using the email they provided during their story submission) asking them permission to display the following information in our apps and on our website:

• Photo

• Personal bio or profile info

• A link, if provided, to their promotional website or social media

We will only every display this information if the user gives us explicit permission, and we will always remove it at any time should the user request us to do so.

Our User Forums

We also provide a Forums area so that our users can better learn about the Wunderverse app, and to share their experiences using it. We use Forums by Mutt in part, because it allows users to communicate with us and with other users anonymously through the use of usernames, and not through personally identifiable information. It also gives users the means to manage their own forums accounts, and the data they provide there, however and whenever they choose.

Because we use a third-party forms solution, all forums data is stored and maintained solely and externally by Muut, Inc. You can find their privacy policy here, and their terms of use here.

What We Do With This Information

We use this information for the following reasons:

• To improve our products and services.

• To promote a safe and fun community for our users.

• Safeguarding the community against abuse and misuse.

We ask for email address for private communication purposes only. We will not, now or in the future, ever display, give out, or use your email for any other purpose than to communicate with you.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and within our apps.

How we use Cookies

We do not directly use any cookies for any reason in our apps or on our website. Our website, however, is hosted by Squarespace, and you may review their Cookie Policy here.
